The North Space
Where It all started...
Our journey began in late 2020 when a small group of three space enthusiasts created a WhatsApp group. Driven by a shared passion for space exploration, they began discussing how to bring their vision to life.
Over the next months, our team grew, with new members joining and others leaving. By 2023, we formalized our organization and founded North Space. Since then, we have been engaged in a variety of hands-on projects and research across all space-related fields, and have also placed some of our members into the industry.

Our Mission & Vision
In the future, we envision being the ideal meeting space for all those who want to participate in and drive the space sector in Portugal. We aim to be the bridge between academia, the business sector, and young Portuguese people, creating an environment where innovation and collaboration can thrive.
We want to be the perfect place to welcome and embrace young people from all fields, from engineering to medicine, including law and management. We aim to show that space is for everyone, and through it, there are infinite possibilities to develop knowledge.
We aspire to be an example of cooperation in Portugal, demonstrating that space is within everyone's reach. By uniting different disciplines and a passion for the unknown, we believe we can open new frontiers and create unique opportunities for the future of our country.
